Blue Star has booked the Oberoi Mixed Use Project, Worli in Mumbai, valued at Rs. 145 crores. This order was won from Oasis Realty, Mumbai which is a joint venture between Oberoi Realty and Sahana Builders. In the past, Blue Star has executed HVAC as well as plumbing and fire-fighting services for Oberoi Mall, Oberoi School, Oberoi Commerz, Oberoi Splendour Prisma, Oberoi Grande, Oberoi Exquisite-3 Towers and Oberoi Commerz II.
The project booked comprises electro-mechanical works for their prestigious mixed-use development project consisting of an 85-storey residential tower and podium with four levels of basement. Blue Star's scope includes supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical and plumbing works and fire-fighting services. The plumbing scope includes supply and installation of piping work including valves and other materials for water supply, drainage (soil, waste and vent), hot water supply, storm water drainage, water supply transfer pumps, hydropneumatic system, control panels, cables, civil works and manholes, amongst others. The fire-fighting scope includes supply and installation of hydrant and sprinkler systems including piping, valves, fire equipment, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, fire pumps (electric & diesel driven), MCCs, control panels and cables, to name a few. This also includes supply and installation of gas suppression systems. Electrical scope includes design validation, engineering, supply, installation and commissioning of HT and LT electrical works.
The architect for the project is Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, P.C., New York, whilst the MEP consultant is Red Engineering, Dubai and the general contractor is Samsung C&T, India.
Blue Star has booked an order valued at Rs. 12 crores from Pioneer eServe (KLJ Group) for Noida One. Noida One is an IT Park located in the developed Sector-62 of Noida. It will be an IT complex of approximately 6,00,000 sq ft with efficient floor plans. It will have the latest technological features like Wi-Fi enabled towers, earthquake resistant RCC structure, 100% power back-up, multi-level parking and international style landscaping.
Sector-62 in Noida is a rapidly developing IT hub for multinational firms sourcing IT services. International giants are based out of this location. Several other companies have opted for their Indian branch offices here because of the suburban atmosphere and easy access to Delhi.
The scope of work consists of supply, installation and commissioning of 500 TR (5 numbers) of water cooled screw chillers, pumps, cooling tower, axial fans, jet fans, associated ducting and piping, amongst others. The project comprises 3 commercial towers with 2 floors of common basements for car parking.
Blue Star has booked an integrated MEP order valued at Rs. 59 crores from Apollo Hospitals, Belapur, Navi Mumbai. The project is a 525-bedded, super-speciality hospital spread over an area of 5.75 lakh sq ft. Apollo Hospitals is the forerunner of integrated healthcare in Asia, as well as globally. Its presence encompasses over 10,000 beds across 51 hospitals.
The scope of the project includes HVAC works comprising supply of 6 chilled and condenser water pumps, 4 cooling towers, 140 double skin air handling units, 210 fan coil units, 59 ventilation fans as well as associated piping, ducting and insulation works. Blue Star's scope also includes electrical works comprising supply, installation, testing and commissioning of switchboards, distribution boards, cables, trays, earthing, wiring and bus ducts.
In addition, its scope includes plumbing and fire-fighting services. The plumbing scope consists of supply, installation, testing and commissioning of sanitary fixtures & CP fittings, valves, 40 km of CPVC piping for water supply, 12 km of CI piping for drainage, 10 submersible pumps, 5 mono-block pumps and 2 hydro-pneumatic pumps as well as panels, cables, cable trays and civil work. The fire-fighting scope comprises supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 5 fire pumps, panels, 25 km of GI piping, valves, cables, trays, fire equipment, fire extinguishers, sprinklers and signages. Blue Star has booked an order valued at Rs. 6 crores from Maruti Suzuki for their regional office at Jaipur. Maruti is the leading manufacturer of cars in India and has production facilities in Manesar and Gurgaon. The company started its operations in 1982 in Gurgaon, Haryana. Today, Maruti produces 40,000 cars every year including 14 cars with 150 variants and has grown to a team of 9,000 professionals.
Maruti is setting up corporate offices at different locations across the country. These corporate offices, which will serve both as office spaces as well as service centres, will be set up by Maruti in two phases across 12 locations in the next 24 months.
The scope of the project comprises supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 3 units of 130 TR air cooled screw chillers, air handling units, air washers and axial flow fans manufactured by Blue Star. It also includes piping, ducting, electrical works and building management systems, amongst others.

Blue Star has booked three orders from RMZ, Bengaluru - RMZ Ecoworld, RMZ Galleria and RMZ Latitude valued at a total of Rs. 29 crores. RMZ is a leading builder and a developer, headquartered in Bengaluru, with several prominent projects in office/IT/ITES as well as home segments located in various cities across India.
RMZ Ecoworld is a campus which is being developed by RMZ on Bengaluru's Outer Ring Road. The total area planned to be developed at Ecoworld is about 4 million sq ft and the campus is expected to house leading technology majors. Blue Star has been associated with all the major IT campuses built by RMZ. Most of the HVAC plants at these campuses use screw chillers manufactured by Blue Star. The scope of the project includes HVAC works comprising supply, installation, testing and commissioning of pumps, air handling units, cooling towers, piping and ducting works.
RMZ Galleria is the most prominent mixed-use development project coming up on Airport Road in Bengaluru. This project includes four 18-storeyed residential buildings housing 327 apartments, a 4-star hotel with 201 rooms in collaboration with Ascott of Singapore, a 14-storeyed office building of 3.1 lakh sq ft and a retail building of 5.1 lakh sq ft. Blue Star's scope includes HVAC works comprising supply, installation, testing and commissioning of pumps, air handling units, cooling towers, piping and ducting works for retail, hotel and office spaces.
RMZ Latitude is a mixed-use development project coming up in North Bengaluru. This project includes an office block and a residential block. The scope of this project comprises supply of air handling units for office space.

Tech Mahindra is an Indian multinational provider of information technology solutions, networking technology solutions and business support services to the telecommunications industry. It is part of the Mahindra Group conglomerate.
The scope of the project includes HVAC works comprising supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 2,350 TR imported screw chillers, pumps, air handling units, fans, ducting & air distribution system, piping & accessories. The scope also includes electrical works as well as building management systems.
Blue Star has booked an order valued at Rs. 42 crores from Qatar University, Qatar. Qatar University is the first, largest and the most prominent institution for higher education in Qatar. As part of a small nation with a strongly focused economy, the University is highly sensitive to the economic and social demands of both business and its students. In the past, Blue Star has executed 3 projects for Qatar University. The total value of the projects amount to Rs. 41 crores. Blue Star has recently also signed a contract for a fourth project valued at Rs. 3 crores with Qatar University.
The scope of this large project comprises supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 2 units of 2,500 TR centrifugal chillers, 2 units of cooling towers, 2 units of primary chilled water pumps, condenser water pumps, secondary pumps, electrical cabling, switch boards, transformers, incoming 11 kV high voltage underground cable from the primary substation to the chiller plant switch board. The project also includes supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the piping system including underground piping. The project is expected to be completed in 12 months.
Blue Star has booked an order valued at Rs. 8.5 crores from Amazon.com, Inc. for their upcoming Fulfillment Centre at Bilaspur, Haryana. The Centre will serve as a warehouse to store the retail merchandise to be sold across Delhi and NCR.
Amazon is an international e-commerce company headquartered in Seattle, USA. It is the world's largest online retailer. While it originally began as an online store, the venture soon diversified, and currently sells virtually every kind of retail merchandise. Amazon ventured into the Indian online shopping market recently and this new Fulfillment Centre is amongst the first few warehouse facilities.The company plans to open another 300 warehouses across India over the next 5 years.
The scheduled completion period for this project is 4 months, and its scope includes supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 3 units of 250 TR air cooled screw chillers, 8 units of chilled, condenser & secondary water pumps, 21 air handling units, 495 inline fans, 62 axial flow fans as well as the associated ducting, piping, insulation and electrical works.

Blue Star has booked an order valued at Rs. 5.5 crores from the Embassy Group for their Embassy Tech Village project.
Vikas Telecom Limited was recently taken over by the Embassy Group and one of their projects - earlier known as Vrindavan Tech Village - was renamed Embassy Tech Village following the take over.
Embassy is Blue Star's long term customer, with several of their projects in Bengaluru executed by Blue Star. Recent projects include Manyata G3 and Embassy Crest. The Embassy Tech Village campus is located on the Outer Ring Road near Cessna Business Park and RMZ Ecospace campuses.
Blue Star's scope comprises supply, installation, testing and commissioning of pumps, piping works, 30 air handling units and 15 heat recovery units. It also includes commissioning of chillers and thermal storage system which were earlier installed by Blue Star in the first and second phases of the project.

Blue Star has booked an integrated MEP order valued at Rs. 30 crores from the All India Society for Health Aid Education & Research (ASHA) for their upcoming Venkateshwar Hospital at Dwarka, New Delhi. The project is a 350-bedded hospital spread over an area of 4 lakh sq ft.
The Venkateshwar Group is a well-respected educational group in NCR. The group is successfully running 4 major schools of international standards in Delhi. This hospital is their first venture into healthcare. They have also acquired additional property in North-West Delhi to develop an oncology super-speciality hospital. Additionally, the Venkateshwar Group also operates two major manufacturing facilities in Pune.
Blue Star has booked an order valued at Rs. 23 crores from the Lodha Group for Lodha Experia Mall, Dombivli in Thane District near Mumbai.
The mall has a built-up area of over 4.5 lakh sq ft with 6 anchor shops (departmental, hypermarket, home & lifestyle) and over 130 stores across several categories. Envisaged to be equipped with a 6-screen multiplex, a food court spread across 10,000 sq ft and a play area for children covering over 25,000 sq ft, Lodha Experia Mall aims to be a one-stop destination to shop, eat and enjoy.
Blue Star's scope consists of supply, installation, testing and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire-fighting services. The HVAC scope comprises chilled water and condenser water pumps, cooling towers for a 2,000 TR cooling plant, 180 double skin air handling units, 69 fan coil units and 47 ventilation fans with associated piping, ducting, insulation and electrical works.
The scope also includes electrical works comprising bus duct and rising mains, LT panels and cables, capacitor panels, cable trays, distribution boards, point wiring, light fixtures, inverter, earthing and lightning protection system as well as a telephone and television system. The plumbing scope includes installation of sanitary fixtures and CP fittings as well as supply, installation, testing and commissioning of internal and external water supply system, internal and external drainage system, storm water drainage, hydro-pneumatic system and submersible pumping system. The fire-fighting scope includes supply, installation, testing and commissioning of fire pumps and fire equipment, hydrant system, sprinkler system and portable fire extinguishers.

Blue Star M&E Engineering Sdn Bhd has been awarded a contract for HVAC works for the Starling Boutique Mall which houses Somerset Damansara Uptown Service Apartment. The value of the project is approximately Rs. 108 crores. Blue Star M&E Engineering Sdn Bhd is a joint venture of Blue Star with the Arab Malaysian Group to cater to the MEP requirements of the Malaysian region.
The scope of work for Blue Star includes HVAC works for Starling Boutique Mall and Somerset Damansara Uptown Service Apartment. Starling Boutique Mall is planned to be a large shopping mall, with a rentable area of 3,80,000 sq ft spread over five levels with a mix of retail, fine dining and outlets for various leisure pursuits. The mall is one-of-its-kind, showcasing the latest architectural features.
Somerset Damansara Uptown Service Apartment is part of the Somerset Group of Hotels. The Service Apartment Tower is envisaged to be 24 storeys tall with 200 rooms. It is scheduled to be inaugurated in 2016 and will be managed by renowned service residence owner-operator, The Ascott Limited.
Blue Star's scope includes the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of five 2,550 TR centrifugal series counter flow chillers, one 500 TR screw VSD chiller, eight chilled water pump sets with VSD and variable primary pumping systems, eight condenser water pump sets, 29 air handling units and 690 fan coil units.
The chilled water plant system which will be catering to the Somerset Serviced Apartment Tower will also be catering to the air conditioning of the existing four office towers and a future tower slated to come up later in the construction stage.
The project is being promoted by the See Hoy Chan Sdn Bhd Group, one of the largest developers in Malaysia with business operations in the region for the past 75 years. Construction at the project site has already begun and is scheduled to be completed in about 30 months.
Blue Star has booked an order for HVAC works valued at Rs. 8.2 crores for the upcoming Surgical Block at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Ansari Nagar, New Delhi, from Apex Construction which is carrying out all the civil works in the campus.
AIIMS was created in 1956 to serve as a nucleus for nurturing excellence in all aspects of healthcare. The Institute has comprehensive facilities for teaching, research and patient-care. It conducts teaching programs in medical and para-medical courses both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and awards its own degrees. Teaching and research are conducted in 42 disciplines. The current project, the Surgical Block, is one of the blocks coming up as part of the expansion of the current AIIMS campus in New Delhi. Blue Star's scope comprises the complete high and low side works including supply, installation, testing and commissioning of three 350 TR water cooled screw chillers, ten condensers, primary and secondary chilled water pumps, three 350 TR cooling towers, 64 floor-mounted as well as ceiling-suspended AHUs, hot water generators, basement ventilation including axial and centrifugal fans and associated piping, ducting, air distribution and electrical works.

Blue Star has booked a significant order for HVAC works valued at Rs. 23 crores for the upcoming Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College, Karnal, Haryana from JMC Projects (I) Ltd.
The State Government of Haryana is establishing a medical college at Karnal in the memory of the famous astronaut, the late Kalpana Chawla, who belonged to Karnal. It was decided by the Government to construct a new medical college with 100 MBBS seats and new state-of-the-art hospital with 500 beds on a turnkey basis. Hospital Services Consultation Corporation (HSCC) India Ltd., Noida, a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has been appointed to provide consultancy services from concept to commissioning for the project. The project will be completed in 25 months. The estimated project cost is Rs. 645 crores. The college and hospital are being constructed in the heart of the city on an area measuring approximately 50 acres.
Blue Star's scope in this contract comprises the complete high and low side works including supply, installation testing and commissioning of five 500 TR water cooled centrifugal chillers with VFD, three 200 TR water cooled screw chillers, two 40 TR air cooled scroll chillers, 96 floor-mounted as well as ceiling-suspended air handling units, 141 fan coil units, 35 condensers, primary and secondary chilled water pumps, 8 cooling towers, hot water generators and associated piping, ducting, air distribution and electrical works.
Blue Star booked a prestigious order valued at Rs. 18 crores from Citadines OMR Aparthotel Pvt. Ltd. for their new serviced apartments at Chennai.
Citadines is part of The Ascott, Singapore, which is the world's largest international serviced residence owner-operator with over 22,000 serviced residential units in 74 cities across 21 countries in Europe, the Asia Pacific and Gulf regions. The company operates three brands - Ascott, Citadines and Somerset.
The proposed block of serviced apartments comprises studio, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units with a total of 269 keys, housed in a structure (including basement, ground floor + 8 floors) having built-up area of around 2.25 lakh sq ft.
Blue Star's scope of the project includes HVAC works which comprises supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 9 chilled water pumps, three 360 TR cooling towers, 392 chilled water FCUs, 25 double skin air handling units, 95 ventilation fans, chilled water and condenser water piping with valve packages, ducting with grilles, diffusers and dampers as well as associated electrical works.
In addition, the scope comprises electrical works including supply, installation, testing and commissioning of HT panels, LT panels, bus duct and rising mains, light fixtures, circuit wiring and point wiring with associated accessories.

Blue Star has booked an order for HVAC works valued at Rs. 8 crores for C3 Building in Pioneer Park, Hi Street at Sector 62, Gurgaon.

Blue Star has booked an order worth Rs. 6.2 crores for the air conditioning and ventilation works of SmartCity Kochi, an IT Special Economic Zone in Kochi, Kerala.
SmartCity Kochi is promoted, at a cost of about Rs. 2,000 crores, by Smart City (Kochi) Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture company formed for the purpose of creating IT infrastructure across the world. The Government of Kerala and TECOM Investments, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding (owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai), are the main investors in the company.
Spread over 246 acres, the project envisages a minimum of 88 lakh sq ft of built-up space, out of which at least 62 lakh sq ft will be specifically for IT/ITES/allied services. On completion, SmartCity Kochi would be one of the largest IT SEZs in the country. The project is expected to create over 90,000 direct jobs and is a flagship project of the Government of Kerala for developing IT infrastructure at Kochi.
Blue Star's contract includes the supply and installation of three 375 TR water cooled screw chillers, 12 pumps, three cooling towers, 31 AHUs, 41 fans and associated low side works.

The project is part of the Manipal Group of Hospitals, with Manipal Group being the major stakeholder in this project. The project is a 350-bedded hospital spread over an area of 4 lakh sq ft.

Blue Star has booked an order valued at Rs. 18.4 crores from TRIL Infopark towards HVAC works for their upcoming Ramanujan IT City Phase II, in Chennai.
Tata Realty and Infrastructure Limited (TRIL) is a subsidiary of the Tata Group, which serves as the real estate and infrastructure development arm of the Group. TRIL Infopark is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) created to execute Ramanujan IT City in Chennai.
In the past, Blue Star has executed four large projects for TRIL Infopark - blocks A, B, C & D in the same campus. It is this positive past experience that prompted the customer to award Blue Star the order for blocks E & F as well.
The scope of the project comprises HVAC works that include supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 12 chilled water pumps, four cooling towers, 120 AHUs, ducting & air distribution system as well as piping & accessories.

Blue Star has booked an order for HVAC works valued at Rs. 6 crores for the upcoming block 4C at RMZ Ecoworld, Bengaluru from L&W Construction Pvt. Ltd., which is executing the entire civil works for this project. Blue Star has been involved with the HVAC works for four major blocks of the Ecoworld campus, including the current project.
In the past, Blue Star was awarded RMZ Ecoworld blocks 4A and 4B, which are currently under execution. Blue Star also executed an air conditioning job valued at Rs. 9 crores for block 8B directly through RMZ.

Blue Star has booked an integrated HVAC order valued at Rs. 5.5 crores from DLF for their upcoming mall & multiplex project at Yashwant Place Community Centre in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. This high-end retail project will house major international brands and is spread across an area of 1.7 acres.
The project is part of NDMC's re-development project of Yashwant Place which has been routed through L&T, the principal contractor.

The plumbing and fire-fighting scope includes installation of sanitary fixtures and CP fitting, water treatment plant, plumbing pumps, hot water generator, solar system, fire-fighting pumps, piping, valves and sprinklers, amongst others.

Blue Star has booked an integrated MEP order valued at Rs. 21 crores from Apollo Hospitals, Visakhapatnam. The scope of the project includes supply, installation, testing and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire-fighting services for a built-up area of 2.24 lakh sq ft.

Blue Star has booked a work order towards 1,800 TR HVAC for Centenary Mall, located on Bistupur main road, Jamshedpur. The order was booked from Forum Retail, Kolkata.
Centenary Mall is the first large mall coming up in the heart of Jamshedpur. The project, which comprises high street shopping, large format anchor stores, multiplex (4 screens by INOX), gourmet dining, as well as a banquet hall for 1,000 people, is spread over approximately 3.5 lakh sq ft.
In the past, Blue Star has executed four large projects with Forum Retail, Kolkata including Forum Mall, Kolkata (975 TR), Technopolis IT Park (a Green building; 1,600 TR), Forum Mall Extension (300 TR) and Forum Mall, Bhubaneswar (500 TR).
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is a Mumbai-based multinational IT services and consulting company, operating in 46 countries. It’s part of the Tata Group, and is the second largest Indian company by market capitalisation, with a highly valued IT service brand globally. TCS’s latest office premises is coming up in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The consultant for this project is Tata Consultancy Engineers.

Sunmed Healthcare Hospital is the most sought-after multi-specialty hospital in Madurai. It is a part of the Meenakshi Mission Hospital & Research Centre (MMHRC) which is the largest multi-specialty hospital in southern Tamil Nadu.
Sunmed’s new multi-specialty hospital is planned to be equipped with 250 beds and will cover an area of 4.5 lakh sq ft including the hospital and service blocks.

Electrical: Two HT panels, 36 LT panels, bus ducts, switches & sockets, distribution boards, cables and cable trays. Plumbing:13 Pump sets, piping, traps, valves and accessories, and ITC of sanitaryware and CP fittings, amongst other things. Fire-fighting: Six fire pumps, fire hydrants and accessories, sprinklers and accessories, and fire-fighting pipe-works with necessary fittings.

The scope of the order includes: SITC of MS piping, sprinklers and hydrant accessories, deluge valves for water curtain system, drainage pipework of cast iron IS 3989 pipes and GI pipes, water supply pipework of GI and CPVC pipes, PRV sets, valves, and drainage accessories. The main challenge at this site will be the stringent timeline set for completion of the project. As much as 14 lakh sq ft of work needs to be completed within 12 months.

Blue Star received an order worth INR 20 crores for the Fire-fighting and Electrical works at Edge 10. Blue Star is not new to RMZ. The Company has executed several projects for RMZ both in Bangalore and in Hyderabad, and is also currently working on some others.
The scope of the order includes: Fire-fighting: Seven MSMO pumps, hydrant valves and accessories, sprinklers, water curtains, GI piping, extinguishers and related electrical works. Electrical: UPS, light fixtures, DBs, cables, cable trays, earthing and point wiring.

The proposed development is planned in two parcels: North Parcel – Buildings 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 with Basement; and South Parcel – Building 1, with basement.

Blue Star received an order worth INR 182 crores for the mechanical works of HVAC, Plumbing & Fire-fighting at Atrium Place.
The scope of the order includes: HVAC Package: Eight 950TR water cooled Centrifugal Chillers, three 375TR water cooled Screw Chillers, 11 cooling towers, 22 primary/condenser pumps, AHUs, 175 TFA units, 65 Fan Coil Units, 18 Precision Units, 613 axial fans, eight air washers, scrubber, 14km of piping, 573 VAVs, 1,35,000 sq m of ducting, grilles, diffusers, dampers and insulation; Plumbing & Fire-fighting: Two Fire Pumps, three Jockey Pumps, three Water Curtain Pumps, 170km of MS piping, 41,053 sprinklers, 2030 sprinkler drops, 4245 fire extinguishers, 32km of CI piping, 46 PHE Pumps, sanitary fixtures, 37km of GI piping, 2km of HDPE piping, 346 masonry chambers. Of this, the Fire Piping of 65mm dia and above is mounted on grooved joints.
The site throws up multiple challenges. For one, this prestigious project of Hines is expected to adhere to stringent international compliance and safety norms. Secondly, there are a total of over 600 drawings that must be prepared within six months! Thirdly, the building is a high-rise, hence material-handling, lifting and shifting are all challenging due to the heights involved. Finally, the manpower requirement is high due to the large quantum of piping and ducting.

Worth Rs 35 crores, this order is for HVAC works across the entire 15 lakh sq ft of the building covering 3 levels of basement, a ground floor and 8 floors above. ARCOP Associates, Gurugram, is the Architect for the project while Sanelac is the HVAC Consultant.
Blue Star’s scope will include 2000TR of air conditioning which will include extensive hardware such as four cooling towers, seven pumps, 34 AHUs, 61 FCUs, four HRWs, four air washers, and 215 axial fans, amongst others, and will need around 21km of piping and 50,000 sq m of ducting in all! The scope includes other accessories like valves, air distribution products, insulation, and HVAC-related Electrical Works.
