Airconditioning and commercial refrigeration major, Blue Star Limited,has announced the appointment of reputed lawyer, Mr Anil Harish as an Additional Independent Director of the Company with effect from November 22, 2017.

 Mr Harish is a Partner of the law firm,D MHarish & Co. and his practice includes many diverse areas of law includingCompany and Mercantile Law, Property, Exchange Control, Foreign Investments, Trusts, Wills,and Indian and International Taxation. He has been on the Managing Committee of the Indian Merchants Chamber, the Chamber of Tax Consultants and the ITAT Bar Association,and also an office bearer of several institutions in the legal field. As a specialist in real estate, Mr Harish is on the Advisory Board of the magazine “Property Scape”,as well as of the Accommodation Times Institute of Real Estate Management and Real Estate Management Institute. Hehas authored several articles which have been published in leading newspapers andprofessional journals.

 Apart from beinga director of numerous public and private companies in India, Mr Harish is involved with several educational and charitable trusts,and is President of the Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board, which runs more than 25 educational institutions.
