Our homes aren't just meant to provide us with physical shelter. They are also our havens that must shelter
us from various physical, chemical and microbial pollutants that taint the air outside. Unfortunately,
most homes cannot extend this protection from air pollution. Because pollutants are always blown into the house
from the street outside through open doors, windows and even cracks around woodwork. What is worse,
once in, trapped within the four walls, the pollutants build up alarmingly to make the air
inside our living, working and recreational spaces almost 10 times more polluted than the air outside.
